Hmmm the highlights of this week
-our car didn't get broken into, however one of our reps cars did....right outside our window. Brent chased the hooligans down a back alley, but lost them...good to know I am married to a citizen on patrol. Brent went from in undees in bed at 11 to clothed to running down the stairs to chasing natives down an alley before I even had figured out what was going on...good times
- Maddax is rolling over, unfortunately he hasn't mastered the ability to roll from his tummy to his back which now means him waking up screaming when he has rolled onto his tummy and is stuck...I wonder what goes on in that crib sometimes.
- we got an ipad!! YEAh!! I might have gotten a little excited and bought a TUN of educational apps for Maddax that he is way too young for.....opps...he'll grow into them though right? Maybe they will work for Brent....
-Unfortunately none of us were raptured and they had to take down the giant billboard professing the day of judgement right next to the largest attraction in Winnipeg, the train station casino. Im sure a lot of people spent a lot of money there pre and post rapture. However I think the biggest gamble was the guy who blew his life savings on the rapture billboard campaign.
-Allergy season has been death for Brent this year, I feel so bad for him!! His eyes are constantly burning and red and it is super sad....luckily for him it rained all weekend clearing up the pollen in the air, unfortunately with all the recent rain the GIANT mosquitos have begun to surface....they are SCARY!
- Maddax got his 6 month shots, which was a relief because they follow a different schedual here in Manitoba than they do in Alberta so the first couple of nurses I talked to weren't willing to give him his shots. I had to hunt down a nurse that used to work in Calgary and was familiar with Albertas scheudal...it all worked out good in the end and she was really good about it. She did a tun of checking to make sure he got the right shots....he didn't even cry this time which was great! And he now weighs just over 22 pounds.....ahhhhhh. I am so sore...he is a freaking tank. He has gained two pounds since we have been here. CRAZY!
- Me and Maddax went to the Royal Canadian Mint. It was actually pretty cool there!! They make the money for 78 countries there...driving up to it is awesome becuase they have a run way you drive up on lined with all of their "valued customers" flags...it was pretty impressive. The building is awesome-cool architecture and nice grounds.
- That about sums up our week I think...People are still bizarely nice here!! It is honestly weird to have people being so nice. It is nice. haha.
